Our Standard Ceramic Fire Rope 6mm BLACK - 25m Drum is meticulously crafted from high-quality woven glass fibres, making it the ideal choice for sealing doors and lids on solid fuel stoves and boilers. This durable and heat-resistant fire rope provides a secure and long-lasting seal, ensuring optimal performance and safety of your heating appliances. To install, ensure you remove any old rope and clean the locating channel of any debris.

Apply Fire Rope Adhesive as per the instructions, press the fire rope into the channel, and cut with scissors to create an end-to-end butt joint. Allow 15 minutes before closing doors. Additionally, our adhesive ensures a solid bond, further enhancing the longevity of the seal.

Before installing, ensure you remove any old rope remnants and thoroughly clean the locating channel from debris. Apply Fire Rope Adhesive (sold separately) according to the manufacturer's instructions. Press the fire rope firmly into the channel ensuring complete contact, then use scissors to cut the rope to the exact required length, achieving an end-to-end butt joint. Wait for at least 15 minutes to allow the adhesive to cure properly before closing the stove or boiler door.
