Our 10mm Black Soft Ceramic Fire Rope, available in a 25m drum, is the ideal solution for creating an air-tight seal on the doors and lids of solid fuel stoves and boilers. Manufactured from woven glass fibres, this fire rope is highly durable and designed to withstand high temperatures. Installation is straightforward: simply clean away old rope and any loose metal, apply fire rope adhesive, press the fire rope into place, and cut to fit.

1. Remove the old, degraded fire rope and thoroughly clean the installation surface. Ensure any loose metal or debris is completely cleared. 2. Apply a generous, even layer of fire rope adhesive to the prepared area. 3. Firmly press the new fire rope into place to ensure a secure, gap-free seal. 4. Use scissors to trim the rope neatly, creating a continuous end-to-end butt joint. 5. Allow at least 15 minutes for the adhesive to fully set before closing the stove doors. Note: Always wear protective gloves and work in a well-ventilated area during installation.
