The Screw-FIX Register Plate Adaptor - Ø 125mm is an essential component for your chimney system, ensuring a perfect fit and secure transition from the connecting flue pipe to the flexible flue liner. Designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 multi-fuel flexible flue liners, this adaptor is suitable for appliances operating up to 600°C (T600 designation). It is ideal for wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances.
The adaptor is installed at the base of the chimney beneath the register plate, with a long tail single wall connection on the underside to fit into the connecting pipe. The adaptor sits above the plate where the transition to the flexible flue liner occurs, ensuring no exposed flexible flue and creating a gas-tight seal with the use of fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant. Complying with Building Regulations Document J, it guarantees a completely enclosed flexible liner inside a masonry chimney.
