The Screw-FIX Long Tail Adaptor - Ø 125 is an essential component for any professional chimney installation. Crafted from robust 0.6mm 316 stainless steel, this adaptor ensures a seamless connection between your rigid single wall flue system and MI-FLEX flexible flue liners. This fitting pairs perfectly with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible liners, forming a complete, secure chimney system that complies with Building Regulations Document J.
Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation), this adaptor is suitable for a range of fuels including wood (with less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil. It is imperative to use it within an enclosed masonry chimney for optimal performance and safety. The bottom fixings precisely connect and secure the flue system, creating a gas-tight seal.
Regular maintenance, including annual sweeping by a competent person and biannual sweeping for solid fuel appliances, is recommended to ensure your chimney's efficiency and safety.
