• This installation kit is intended for use exclusively within masonry chimneys – it must be fully enclosed as per Building Regulations Document J. • Ensure that installation is carried out by a competent person to maintain safety standards and comply with local regulations. • The kit components have been engineered for ease of assembly; however, careful attention must be paid to ensure that each part is securely fitted. • Regular maintenance is advised – chimneys should be inspected and cleaned at least twice a year to prevent any build-up of deposits and ensure optimal performance. • Do not use chemical cleaners or mild steel tools for maintenance on stainless steel components to avoid damage. • Always verify appliance and chimney specifications before installation to ensure compatibility.

The Pack 705 kit is suitable for appliances up to 600°C, including those using wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil.

Yes, this installation kit is designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners.

The kit includes a top plate, top clamp, nose cone, increasing adaptor (150mm SW to 180mm Flex), chimney notice plate, and a rain cap.

The Building Regulations Document J states that a flexible flue liner must be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney. Non-masonry enclosures are not acceptable.

Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be cleaned at least twice a year—once after the heating season to remove deposits and once before the season starts to check for blockages.

No, chemical cleaners or mild steel tools should not be used to sweep stainless steel chimneys. Only competent persons should perform sweeping, preferably HETAS registered sweeps.

If the existing chimney pot needs to be removed or if there isn’t a pot, the Pack 705 provides all necessary components to facilitate the installation.
