Manufactured from zero carbon steel with a vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish, this increaser ensures optimal performance and longevity. It’s ideally used to connect your appliance with a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system.

However, note that it should never be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Installation is straightforward yet crucial: MI-VIT Lite should always be installed the correct way up, with the smaller diameter pointing downward to ensure condensates stay within the flue system. The pipe does not require joint sealing for T600 high-temperature installations, but for pellet applications where positive pressure (P1) is present, seals must be installed on every joint. Cutting the MI-VIT Lite is possible, but ensure all exposed steel is treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust over time.Proper maintenance is essential.

For solid fuel applications, install access doors at changes in direction to facilitate chimney inspection and cleaning. Chimneys should be swept at least once a year to ensure safety and efficient operation.
