Designed to enhance the flow of gases, this gather hood is part of the MF20 MI-FLEX accessories range, perfectly suited for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners to create a full chimney system. It's constructed for compatibility with wood (under 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances, handling temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation).

Following UK Building Regulations Document J, it should only be installed within a masonry chimney, ensuring the secure transition from the connecting flue system to the flexible flue liner. The gather hood features a robust design, with metal flaps that can be easily folded and secured into brickwork at the top of the chimney chamber. For maintenance, it's recommended to sweep the chimney twice a year, especially for solid fuel applications, to prevent blockages and ensure the system works efficiently.
