The EuroSW1 Male to Male Adaptor (Ø 175mm) is designed to connect gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C to your flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Constructed from zero carbon steel, the EuroSW1 system offers robust performance and longevity. However, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
The installation requires careful attention to positioning and safety, maintaining a safe distance from combustible materials and ensuring proper orientation of the pipe. The friction fit joint does not require sealing, but for added security, you may use fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. Maintenance includes regular inspection and cleaning, especially for solid fuel systems.
The EuroSW1 can be easily cut to fit, but any exposed steel should be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.
