The EuroSW1 90° Elbow Ø 200mm is designed for connecting gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances to your flue system, handling temperatures up to a robust 600°C. Manufactured from zero carbon steel, this single-skin connecting flue system ensures both resilience and longevity. Please note that the EuroSW1 pipe is solely for use between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system.
It must not be used through ceilings or combustible walls.Installation is straightforward but crucial. Ensure the EuroSW1 is at least 600mm away from any combustible materials. The pipe should be installed with the smaller diameter pointing downward to prevent the escape of condensates.
While a friction fit system means no sealing is required, for added security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. This pipe can be cut to fit, but any exposed steel should be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. When handling the installation, proper PPE is essential.Regular maintenance is a must, especially for solid fuel applications.
Install access doors at directional changes for easy inspection and cleaning. Solid fuel chimneys should be swept and maintained at least once a year, or more frequently if necessary.
