The Cone Top Cowl Ø 150 is ingeniously designed to ensure the maximum exit velocity of flue gases, perfect for woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel appliances. It is constructed with an outer skin made from 304 grade stainless steel and an inner skin made from 316 grade stainless steel, both 0.4mm thick. The insulation comprises compressed rockwool with a density of 200kg/m3, ensuring efficient heat retention and safety.
This cowl is fully welded for enhanced durability and has a mandatory distance to combustibles of 50mm. Additionally, it is HETAS Approved and CE marked, complying with all relevant standards (EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and EN1856-1 T200 W V2 L50040 O20). Installation is straightforward with a Locking Band to secure the chimney parts, ensuring ease for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts.
Please note, it should only be used where a tee cap and train are installed to drain any water present in the system.
