The VIT-Smooth Stove Offset with Door - Ø 125mm is an essential component for connecting your stove to a flue system, designed for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances that reach temperatures up to 600°C. Crafted from zero carbon steel and coated with a durable, matte black powder vitreous enamel finish, this pipe not only performs exceptionally but also looks great. Ideal as a connecting piece between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, it comes with a built-in offset of 100mm and an integrated sweeping door at the bottom, ensuring minimal joints and easy maintenance.
Please note, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. For best installation practices, ensure the smaller diameter points downward to keep condensates within the flue system. Although it offers friction-fit joints, adding a layer of fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant is recommended for extra security.
The pipe is also easy to cut to size, though do cover exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Regular maintenance is key, especially for solid fuel applications, so make allowances for chimney inspection and cleaning.
