Crafted from zero carbon steel and coated in a glossy black powder vitreous enamel finish, this single-skin connecting pipe ensures durability and a polished appearance. Ideal for connecting your appliance to the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, the VIT-Smooth should not pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Careful installation is crucial—ensure that no part of the VIT-Smooth is within 375mm of combustible materials such as wood or plasterboards.

The smaller diameter of the pipe should point downward to prevent condensate escape and protect the pipe’s exterior. With a friction-fit joint, no sealant is required, though jointing compounds like fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant can offer added security.Easily adjusted to the desired length, this pipe can be cut with care. Exposed steel must be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.

Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.Regular maintenance is vital, particularly for solid fuel applications. Incorporate access doors into directional changes to facilitate cleaning and inspection. Chimneys should be swept at least annually to ensure optimal performance.
