The TWPro MB - Firestop Cover Plate (MB) - Ø150 is a precision-engineered solution for completing the look of your fireplace installation. Specifically designed for use with solid fuel and gas/oil appliances, this cover plate is ideal for woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel appliances. Constructed with a 0.4mm thick outer skin of 304-grade stainless steel and an inner skin of 0.4mm thick 316-grade stainless steel, it offers durability and reliability.

The insulation is made from compressed rockwool, providing a density of 200kg/m3. Fully welded parts ensure seamless performance. The TWPro series maintains a safe distance to combustibles: 50mm for TWPro and 60mm for KC models.

HETAS approved and CE marked, this product meets the highest industry standards. For installation, TWPro Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts are secured with a Locking Band, ensuring stability and safety. Always maintain the required distance from the outside of the flue to any combustible material such as wood or plasterboard.

Begin by ensuring that all combustibles are at least 50mm away from the flue for TWPro, or 60mm for KC models. The TWPro MB Firestop Cover Plate is installed by aligning it under the existing firestop plate, using strong magnets to secure it in place. Critical spacers are inserted to maintain the correct distance; these allow optimal airflow into the combustion chamber. The installation should be completed with the fitting of a Locking Band which holds the Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts securely together. Always refer to the manufacturer's installation guidelines and consider professional installation if uncertain about the safety clearances or assembly process.

The primary use is to cover an existing Firestop Plate, ensuring a pleasing finish while maintaining necessary airflow within the chamber.

It is suitable for solid fuel and gas/oil appliances, including woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel appliances.

The outer skin is made from 304-grade stainless steel, while the inner skin is made from 316-grade stainless steel, each 0.4mm thick. The insulation is made from compressed rockwool.

The TWPro MB Firestop Cover Plate is HETAS approved and CE marked.

It is secured to the underside of the existing Firestop Plate using magnets and spacers. The Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts are connected using a Locking Band.

The required distance is 50mm for TWPro and 60mm for KC models from the outside of the flue to any combustible material such as wood or plasterboard.

The insulation density of the TWPro MB Firestop Cover Plate is 200kg/m3 for TWPro and 128kg/m3 for KC.
