This plate is essential for tidying up the area where the flue passes through walls at a 45° angle. Compatible with solid fuel, gas, and oil appliances such as woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boilers, and other solid fuel appliances, this finishing plate is as versatile as it is functional.Constructed from high-grade materials, the outer skin is made of 304-grade stainless steel with a thickness of 0.4mm, and the inner skin is composed of 316-grade stainless steel at the same thickness.
The insulation comprises compressed rockwool with a density of 200kg/m3, providing robust heat resistance and safety. Every part is fully welded to ensure maximum durability.With HETAS approval and CE marking, this plate adheres to rigorous quality and safety standards. The Distance to Combustibles (DTC) is a crucial consideration, and this finishing plate maintains a safe 50mm clearance to any combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard.
Installation is straightforward; the TWPro Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts are secured together with a Locking Band, and silicone and screws are used to affix the plate securely to the wall.
