The Top Insert Sleeve - Ø 200 is crafted to provide critical support at the top of your flexible chimney liner, fitting seamlessly within the MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flue liner systems. This installation fitting is crucial for creating a full system chimney and ensures your chimney operates safely and efficiently. Designed for multi-fuel use, it’s suitable for wood, smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation), provided moisture content in wood is less than 20%.
To comply with Building Regulations Document J, this component must be installed within a masonry chimney. Our Top Insert Sleeve slides effortlessly inside the flexible chimney liner, working in conjunction with the Top Plate and Top Clamp to support the weight without compromising the liner's integrity. Ensure your chimney stack is weatherproof and in good condition before installation.
Regular maintenance, including sweeping by a competent person, is essential to keep your system in top shape. For solid fuel appliances, refer to HETAS registered sweeps and avoid chemical cleaners or mild steel tools to prevent damage.
