The Storm Collar - Ø 150 is an essential component in your chimney flue system, designed for use with solid fuel and gas/oil appliances, including woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel appliances. Crafted with precision, the outer skin is made from 304 grade stainless steel, while the inner skin uses 316 grade stainless steel, both boasting a thickness of 0.4mm. Enhanced by compressed rockwool insulation with a density of 200kg/m3 TWPro / 128Kg/m3, and fully welded parts, this storm collar assures superior durability and safety.

It maintains a critical 50mm distance from combustibles for TWPro and 60mm for KC. Approved by HETAS and CE marked, it adheres to stringent standards with designation numbers TWPro EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and KC EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G60. Install easily with a Locking Band, ensuring all parts fit securely together and maintaining the necessary distance from combustible materials.

Install the Storm Collar - Ø 150 approximately 25mm above the highest part of the roof flashing. Ensure the collar is positioned correctly over the flue before securing it with a bead of high-quality silicone around the top edge to achieve optimal water tightness. The inclusion of a Locking Band guarantees that all parts remain firmly in place, maintaining the required 50mm or 60mm distance from combustible materials as specified. Always refer to your installation manual and adhere to local building regulations for safe installation practices.

It is suitable for solid fuel and gas/oil appliances such as woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel appliances.

The outer skin is made from 304 grade stainless steel, while the inner skin is made from 316 grade stainless steel. Both are 0.4mm thick and fully welded.

It should be installed about 25mm above the tallest part of the flashing and secured with a bead of silicone around the top edge and the flue to achieve water-tightness.
