Ideal for use with woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil and gas boilers, and other solid fuel appliances, this storm collar ensures that your chimney remains secure and functional regardless of the weather. Constructed with a durable outer skin made from 304-grade stainless steel and an inner skin from 316-grade stainless steel, both at 0.4mm thickness, it offers robust protection.

The insulation is made from compressed rockwool with a density of 230kg/m3, enclosed within twist-lock couplers for ease of installation. The entire assembly is laser welded for extra durability. It is essential to maintain a 50mm distance from any combustible material.

This product is HETAS approved, CE marked, and bears the designation number EN1856-1 T450 N1 D V2 L50040 G50, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards. Begin by preparing the chimney flashing area and check that all components are clean and free from debris. Place the collar over the flashing ensuring it sits flush against the surface. Secure it using the provided twist-lock couplers, and tighten with the locking band to ensure a firm and safe fit. A tube of silicon sealant is supplied; apply it around the edges to prevent moisture penetration. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely for each component and if unsure, refer to the detailed installation manual provided with the product. Always observe safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment during installation.
