The Screw-FIX Pot Hanging Cowl in Terracotta with a diameter of 80 mm is designed to enhance the performance and safety of your chimney system. Specifically made for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, it integrates seamlessly into a complete chimney system, providing excellent protection and fit. This pot hanging cowl comes with an integrated rain cap and bird guard, which not only eliminates the need to remove the pot during installation but also prevents bird entry and enhances rain protection.
Ideal for use on appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation), it's suitable for fuels such as Wood with less than 20% moisture, Smokeless coal, Gas, and Oil.For bottom fixings within masonry chimneys, it ensures a tight, gas-proof seal with fire cement, ceramic rope, tape, or high-temperature sealant. Compliant with the latest BSEN standards, it supports easy maintenance with access provision and requires competent sweeping personnel. Regular cleaning is recommended, especially for solid fuel applications.
Secure it using the standard jubilee fixing method as advised in the installation instructions. This essential accessory ensures the stability and performance of your MI-FLEX liner system effortlessly.
