Our Register Plate (C) offers an effective solution for sealing the base of your chimney, ensuring that no debris or vermiculite enters your stove. Constructed from durable 1.5mm thick galvanised steel, this versatile plate can be easily customised on-site to fit the exact dimensions of your chimney stack. It features two access holes suited for 125mm and 150mm flue pipes, making it adaptable to various installations.
The installation process is straightforward: cut the supporting brackets to size, drill holes, screw them into the brickwork, and fit the Register Plate securely. Be sure to use high-temperature sealant or fire cement to fill any gaps between the plate and the chimney's brickwork. This product also supports vermiculite insulation, further enhancing its utility.
Regular maintenance, including annual chimney sweeping and debris removal through the inspection holes, ensures optimal performance and safety.
