Designed specifically for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, this pack ensures a fully functional chimney system. Building Regulations Document J underscores the necessity of enclosing flexible flue liners within masonry chimneys — non-masonry enclosures like timber or plasterboard are not acceptable.

Suitable for appliances up to 600°C, this kit is perfect for wood (less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil. The package includes a top plate, top clamp, top insert, nose cone, adaptor to black pipe or single wall flue, and a chimney notice plate. Routine maintenance and sweeping should be carried out by a competent person at least once or twice a year to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Begin by carefully positioning the top plate at the chimney’s crown, using the supplied top clamp to secure it in place. The top insert and nose cone are designed to guide the 125mm flexible flue liner smoothly down the chimney for optimal performance. Use the provided adaptor for a seamless transition to a black pipe or single-wall flue if required. It is recommended that this installation be carried out by a competent person, or under professional supervision, to ensure safety and compliance. Routine chimney maintenance is also vital: arrange a cleaning or sweeping session at least once or twice a year to prevent blockages and maintain peak functionality.
