The Nose Cone - Ø 180 is an essential accessory from the MF20 MI-FLEX range, designed to facilitate the installation of flexible flue liners such as MI-FLEX 316 and MI-FLEX 904. When used in conjunction with these liners, it helps create a complete chimney system. Compliant with Building Regulations Document J, this nose cone ensures a smooth insertion by preventing the liner from snagging against chimney walls during installation.

This product is suitable for use with various fuels including wood (less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil, and can withstand temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation). Maintenance is straightforward, with sweeping recommended at least once a year, and more frequently for solid fuel uses.

Before initiating installation, ensure your chimney interior is clean and free of obstructions. The Nose Cone - Ø 180 fits onto the leading end of the MI-FLEX flue liner. Securely attach the nose cone and check that it aligns properly with the chimney's opening. During insertion, maintain a steady pace to avoid abrupt movements which could lead to misalignment or damage to the liner. Always use appropriate safety gear and consider employing the services of a HETAS registered chimney sweep for solid fuel applications. Note: Draw cords required for assisting liner insertion are not included and need to be sourced separately.
