The Joiner - Ø 180 is an essential accessory designed for joining two pieces of MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, enabling the extension of flue systems beyond the standard lengths available. Perfect for both wood-burning and multi-fuel appliances, this joiner is manufactured to withstand temperatures up to 600°C, ensuring reliability and durability. It's important to note that this joiner is not suitable for gas liners and must only be used when the chimney liner length exceeds the maximum flexible liner length available.
Installation of this product must adhere to UK Building Regulations Document J, requiring the flue liner to be completely enclosed within a masonry chimney. Regular maintenance includes sweeping the chimney system by a competent person at least once a year, and twice a year for solid fuel applications, to ensure safety and efficiency. Always refer to HETAS registered sweeps for professional cleaning services, avoiding chemical cleaners and mild steel tools.
