The MI-VIT Lite 150mm Finishing Plate / Rosette is an essential accessory for your flue system, designed to provide a polished finish to the entry hole into non-combustible walls or register plates. Constructed from zero carbon steel with a durable, matte black vitreous enamel coating, this single skin connecting flue system can handle temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius. It's ideal for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances.

When fitted with a seal, it achieves a P1 pressure rating up to a working temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. However, please note, MI-VIT Lite pipes should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. This product is friction fit, eliminating the need for sealing joints in high-temperature installations.

However, for pellet installations with positive pressure, seals must be placed on every joint. Proper care should be taken when installing, including the use of appropriate PPE and ensuring the pipe is installed correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to contain condensates. For maintenance, it's crucial to provide access for inspection and cleaning, especially for solid fuel applications.

We recommend installing access doors at changes of direction and sweeping chimneys at least once a year.
