No, the MI-VIT Lite is not designed to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.

It is manufactured from zero carbon steel with a vitreous enamel coating in a matte black finish.

It should not be installed within 450mm of combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard.

For T600 high temperature installations, the joints do not need sealing. For P1 applications where positive pressure is present, seals must be placed on every joint.

Yes, it can be cut to size. However, any exposed steel should be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.

Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
