The Mi-Pellet Reducer Ø 90mm Boiler to Ø 80mm is a crucial component for connecting your appliance to a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue systems. It's designed for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C, making it versatile and durable. The Mi-Pellet pipe is constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with a matte black vitreous enamel finish, ensuring it remains both functional and stylish.
This product should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. For high-temperature applications up to 200°C where a positive pressure seal is required, a P1 pressure rating can be achieved by fitting a seal at every joint. Proper installation maintains the integrity of your flue system by ensuring condensates remain inside the system.
Ensure safe handling and installation by keeping pipes at least 375mm from combustible materials and using appropriate PPE. For maintenance and inspection, especially with solid fuel appliances, it is recommended to fit access doors at direction changes for easy cleaning. Regular sweeping and upkeep are advised at least annually.
