The Locking Band Ø 175 is an essential component for ensuring secure connections in your twin wall insulated chimney system. Specifically designed for use with solid fuel, gas, and oil appliances—including woodstoves, gas coal-effect fires, and oil and gas boilers—this locking band guarantees a tight and reliable fit. The construction features an outer skin made from 304-grade stainless steel and an inner skin from 316-grade stainless steel, both 0.4mm thick.
The insulation comprises compressed rockwool, offering a density of 200kg/m³, ensuring optimal heat resistance. Compliant with EN1856-1 standards and HETAS-approved, the Locking Band Ø 175 assures safety and quality. Installation is straightforward, but maintaining a 50mm distance from combustibles like wood and plasterboard is crucial.
