Our Lead Free Flashing from National Flues is the ultimate solution for your chimney roofing needs, suitable for tiled and slate roofs. Constructed from a robust and environmentally safe polymer-based material called Fast Flash, it features an aluminium mesh reinforcement and a stainless steel (S/S) cone for durability. The lower surface is coated with a butyl self-adhesive layer and is finished with a protective film to ensure the flashing remains pristine during storage and installation.
This versatile flashing can be used on roofs with slopes ranging from 20° to 45° and is compatible with external pipe diameters of 175mm (125mm internal diameter). Its flexible design allows it to adhere easily to almost all common building materials, including brick, concrete, metal, glass, and various painted surfaces. The self-adhesive backing simplifies the installation process, and it can be easily customised using a Stanley knife or plate shears.
For porous surfaces such as brick and concrete, pre-treatment with Primer is recommended to ensure a secure bond. All surfaces should be cleaned of grease and oils with appropriate cleaning wipes and lightly matted using an abrasive sponge for optimal adhesion.
