Our Fire Rope - 25m roll with a 15mm diameter is an essential accessory for maintaining the seals on solid fuel stoves and boilers. Constructed from woven glass fibres, this soft fire rope offers exceptional durability and heat resistance. To install, first remove any old rope and clean the locating channel of debris and loose metal.

Next, apply Fire Rope Adhesive as per the instructions, and firmly press the rope into place, cutting it with scissors to create an end-to-end butt joint. Allow at least fifteen minutes before closing the stove or boiler doors to ensure a secure fit.

1. Begin by removing the old fire rope and thoroughly cleaning the channel of any debris, dust, or loose metal particles. 2. Ensure the channel is dry and free from remnants to allow optimal adhesion. 3. Apply an even layer of Fire Rope Adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions along the entire length of the channel. 4. Firmly press the new fire rope into the adhesive-lined channel, ensuring it is seated evenly without any gaps. 5. Using a pair of sharp scissors, trim the rope to create a neat end-to-end butt joint. 6. Allow at least fifteen minutes for the adhesive to cure before reassembling or closing the stove or boiler doors. 7. Check all seals for a complete and secure fit before regular use.
