The EuroSW1 Adjustable Pipe 250-400mm with a 200mm diameter is a versatile solution designed to bridge gaps between fixed flue points. Ideal for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, this pipe can withstand temperatures up to 600°C. Constructed from zero-carbon steel, EuroSW1 ensures durability and safety.
Remember, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible materials.During installation, ensure the pipe is at least 600mm away from any combustible materials like wood or plasterboards. Proper orientation is crucial: the smaller diameter should always point downward to keep condensates within the system. Although EuroSW1 joints are friction fit and generally don’t require sealing, adding fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can provide extra security.
EuroSW1 pipes can be cut to size, but exposed steel should be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.Maintenance is key for longevity, especially with solid fuel appliances. Install EuroSW1 pipes with access doors at direction changes for easier inspection and cleaning. Aim to sweep and maintain chimneys serving solid fuel appliances at least once a year to ensure optimal performance.
