The Ø 225 Internal Clay Pot Adaptor - Ø 125 is designed for connecting the bottom of a chimney stack with an internal clay liner, without the need to install a chimney flue liner. Before using this method, it is essential to conduct a smoke test on the existing clay liner to ensure it's in good condition. Constructed from 1mm thick stainless steel grade 316, this adaptor is built for durability and corrosion resistance.

The clay end of the adaptor is tapered for a secure internal fit, accommodating the natural irregularities of clay liners. To achieve a proper seal, use Fire Cement and Fire Rope around the clay liner. Secure the adaptor using stainless screws to prevent corrosion, and finish by applying the single wall pipe over the spigot, sealing with Fire Cement and/or Fire Rope.

Before proceeding with installation, ensure that the existing clay liner is in good condition by conducting a thorough smoke test. The adaptor is designed with a tapered clay end to accommodate natural irregularities in the liner, ensuring a secure internal fit. Begin by positioning the adaptor so that it connects the bottom of your Ø 225 chimney stack to the Ø 125 clay liner. Apply a generous amount of Fire Cement and wrap Fire Rope around the clay liner to create a robust seal. Secure the adaptor firmly using stainless screws to prevent future movement or corrosion. Finally, place the single wall pipe over the spigot of the adaptor and seal it in place with additional Fire Cement and/or Fire Rope to guarantee a weather-tight connection. Always follow safety guidelines and, if uncertain, consult a professional installer.
