The VIT-Smooth 90° Elbow Ø 100mm is a highly efficient connecting pipe designed for various heating appliances, including gas, oil, and solid fuel setups, withstanding temperatures up to 600°. Crafted from zero carbon steel, it features a sleek matt black powder vitreous enamel coating, ensuring longevity and a professional appearance. Ideal for connecting the appliance to a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, it keeps condensates internal for maintenance-free operation.
However, it's not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation requires careful alignment to avoid spillage, and while the friction fit joints don’t necessitate sealing, an optional fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can provide extra security. Regular maintenance and cleaning, especially for solid fuel appliances, are recommended to ensure optimum performance.
