Note that it is not suitable for passage through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation must be careful to ensure it's fitted the right way up, with the smaller diameter pointing downward to avoid condensates externalizing.
The friction fit joints ensure a snug fit, and for added security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. Maintenance is straightforward and essential, especially for solid fuel applications, so provisions should be made for inspection and cleaning.
