The VIT-Smooth GLOSS - 90° Rosette Collar (Spring) - Ø 125mm is designed for connecting flue systems, suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances reaching temperatures up to 600°C. This robust single-skin connecting flue is manufactured from zero carbon steel and features a powder vitreous enamel coating in a glossy black finish, ensuring both durability and a sleek appearance. Ideal for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, the VIT-Smooth should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
When installing, ensure the VIT-Smooth pipe is positioned correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates within the flue system. For additional security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent any condensate escape. This pipe can be customized to fit your needs, but ensure any exposed steel is covered with high-temperature paint to avoid rusting over time.
Always wear appropriate PPE during installation. Regular maintenance, such as sweeping and checking chimneys serving solid fuel appliances, is advised to ensure optimal performance and safety.
