The VIT-Smooth Adjustable Wall Bracket - Ø 175mm is designed to secure your connecting pipe to the wall, providing crucial lateral support to your flue system. This wall bracket is perfect for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. The VIT-Smooth pipe should be used as a connecting link between your appliance and your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System.

Please note the VIT-Smooth pipe must not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with a powder vitreous enamel in a stylish matt black finish, the VIT-Smooth not only performs exceptionally well but also looks fantastic. Installation requires careful attention, ensuring the pipe is installed the correct way up to keep condensates within the flue system. The friction-fit joints do not require sealing, but for additional security, a jointing compound such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used.It's important to maintain a safe distance of at least 375mm from any combustible materials when installing a piece of VIT-Smooth 100mm.

Additionally, this product is designed to be cut; however, ensure that any exposed steel is covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.For maintenance, provision should be made for inspecting and cleaning the chimney, which is crucial for solid fuel applications. This can be achieved by installing a VIT-Smooth pipe with access doors at changes of direction.

Regular sweeping and maintenance are recommended at least once a year for chimneys serving solid fuel appliances.
