The VIT-Smooth Adaptor (175mm diameter), ideal for connecting traditional flue pipes to modern VIT-Smooth systems, ensures your appliance functions efficiently and safely. Constructed from zero-carbon powder-coated steel with a matte black vitreous enamel finish, it's suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. This adaptor should only be used as a connecting pipe between appliances, flue liners, chimney stacks, or twin wall flue systems.
Notably, it's designed to maintain the integrity of your flue system by ensuring all condensates remain inside. To extend its lifespan and ensure consistent performance, high-temperature paint should cover any exposed steel post-cutting. Installation should ensure no pieces of VIT-Smooth are placed within 375mm of combustible materials, with proper PPE worn throughout.
Regular inspection and cleaning, particularly for solid fuel systems, are essential for optimal performance and safety.
