The VIT-Smooth Adaptor (Traditional to Vit-Smooth) - Ø 100mm is a premium connecting pipe suitable for a range of heating appliances including gas, oil, and solid fuel options. Built to handle temperatures up to 600°C, this versatile and durable adaptor is ideal for connecting your appliance to a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Crafted from zero carbon steel with a powder vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish, it offers both functionality and aesthetic appeal.This single skin connecting flue system must be used only as a connecting pipe and not to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Installation mandates at least a 375mm clearance from any combustible materials, and proper PPE should be used during the installation process for safety. The VIT-Smooth is designed for a friction fit, eliminating the need for joint sealing, though additional security via jointing compound is optional.Maintenance is straightforward, especially for solid fuel applications, with an emphasis on annual chimney sweeping. Apart from the efficient functionality, this adaptor also meets high standards for ease of fitting, durability, and long-lasting performance.
