The VIT-Smooth 90° Tee and Cap M/F with a diameter of 100mm is an essential component for connecting flue systems in various heating appliances. Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C, VIT-Smooth should only be used as a connecting pipe between the appliance and your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. This high-quality, single skin pipe is manufactured from zero carbon steel, featuring a durable powder vitreous enamel coating in a matt black finish.
Installation requires you to ensure the VIT-Smooth pipe is oriented correctly with the smaller diameter pointed downwards to keep condensates within the system. It’s a friction fit joint, meaning no sealing is required, but jointing compound can be added for extra security. The pipe should not be installed within 375mm of combustible materials, such as wood or plasterboard.
Designed for easy cutting, any exposed steel should be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Regular inspection and cleaning, especially for solid fuel applications, is recommended to maintain optimal performance.
