The VIT-Smooth - 90° Rosette Collar (Spring Fix) - Ø 100mm is an essential component for anyone installing a flue system for gas, oil, or solid fuel appliances, supporting temperatures up to 600°C. This product is crafted from zero-carbon steel, ensuring robust durability while the powder vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish adds a sophisticated touch to your installation. Designed solely as a connecting pipe, it offers seamless integration between appliances and a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, though it must not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
The clever friction fit joint design eliminates the need for seals though for added security, joints may be fortified with high-temperature silicone sealant or fire cement. Be sure to install VIT-Smooth in the correct orientation to prevent condensate leakage and rust-proof any exposed steel post-cutting with high-temperature paint. For optimal performance and safety, follow all installation guidelines, don proper PPE, and conduct regular maintenance, especially for solid fuel setups.
