The VIT-Smooth 500mm Pipe with Door - Ø 175mm is a high-quality connecting flue pipe suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. Made from zero carbon steel with a powder vitreous enamel coating in a sophisticated matt black finish, this pipe is designed to withstand high temperatures and ensure efficient flue system performance. The built-in access door allows for easy cleaning and maintenance, making it a practical and durable solution.
Remember, VIT-Smooth pipes are not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation should be done with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to keep condensates within the flue system. For added security, joints can be sealed using a high-temperature silicone sealant or fire cement.
Spray any cut edges with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Always wear proper PPE during installation.
