The VIT-Smooth 500mm Pipe with Door - Ø 125mm is a robust fixed pipe, ideal for connecting appliances to your flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Built from zero carbon steel and coated with a durable matt black powder vitreous enamel, it's suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances up to 600°C. Remember, this pipe should never pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
The friction fit joints do not require sealing, though for added security, you may use jointing compounds like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. Designed for simplicity in cutting, any exposed steel should be painted with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Installation must ensure a minimum distance of 375mm from combustible materials.
Regular maintenance is essential, particularly for solid fuel applications; the access door built into this pipe facilitates easy cleaning and inspection. Install with proper PPE for safety.
