Ideal for connecting your appliance to a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, this pipe can withstand temperatures up to 600°C, making it suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances. However, it's not designed to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Installation is straightforward yet requires attention to detail.

Ensure there is at least a 375mm gap between the VIT-Smooth pipe and any combustible material. The pipe should be installed with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to keep condensates within the system. Although VIT-Smooth is a friction-fit joint that doesn't require sealing, jointing compound can be used for extra security.

Any exposed steel from cutting the pipe should be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.Routine maintenance is crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. The built-in access door allows for easy inspection and chimney sweeping, helping to maintain your system's efficiency and safety. Frequent sweeping and inspection, at least once a year, are recommended.
