The board can be sawn, drilled, and sanded to fit your specific needs, making it highly versatile. It can serve as a heat shield, a register plate above a free-standing stove, or replace fire bricks inside a stove.

To ensure a seamless installation, the edges and flue pipe can be sealed with heat-resistant silicone up to 300°C. For aesthetic purposes, you can finish the board with heat-resistant spray paint or tiles using heat-resistant tile adhesive. This board is especially suitable for wood-burning stoves and inglenooks, providing excellent durability and a visually appealing herringbone pattern.
