The Vermiculite Fire Board (Brick) at National Flues is a high-quality, fire-resistant board measuring 230mm x 114mm x 25mm. This versatile board can be sawn, drilled, and sanded with ease, making it an ideal choice for various installation requirements. Its primary uses include serving as a heat shield, a register plate above a free-standing stove, and as replacement fire bricks inside a stove.
For seamless installation, the edges and flue pipe can be sealed using heat-resistant silicone that can withstand temperatures up to 300°C. The board can be securely fixed to walls by drilling and screwing, and for a polished finish, we recommend using heat-resistant spray paint or tiling with heat-resistant tile adhesive. This product provides an efficient, safe, and aesthetically pleasing solution for your fireplace needs.
