Constructed from zero carbon steel and coated with vitreous enamel, this robust cap provides excellent durability and corrosion resistance.

Note, this rain cap is intended solely as a connecting pipe and should not go through ceilings or combustible walls.**Construction Details:**Crafted from high-quality zero carbon steel, the VB Special Female Rain Cap comes with a vitreous enamel coating that ensures a stylish matte black finish. It achieves a P1 pressure rating up to 200°C when sealed.**Installation Instructions:**Position the VB Special Female Rain Cap correctly, aligning the smaller diameter downwards to keep condensates within the system. Never place it within 375mm of any combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard.

For applications requiring positive pressure (P1), make sure each joint is sealed. Any exposed steel should be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.**Maintenance Tips:**Maintain and clean your flue system regularly, especially for solid fuel applications.

Install the rain cap with access doors at direction changes for easier cleaning. It is advisable to sweep and maintain chimneys serving solid fuel appliances at least yearly.
