The TWPro MB Gas Cowl Ø 175 is a robust and highly efficient component designed to enhance the performance of gas and oil appliances, such as wood stoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boilers, and gas boilers. Made with an outer layer of 304 stainless steel that's 0.4mm thick and coated in a durable high-temperature black finish, this gas cowl ensures longevity and outstanding weather resistance. The inner layer is constructed from 316-grade stainless steel, also 0.4mm thick, offering exceptional corrosion resistance.

Its construction features compressed rockwool insulation with a density of 200kg/m³, providing excellent thermal insulation properties. Fully welded parts ensure a solid, durable structure. The design maintains a safety distance of 50mm to any combustible materials, making it a secure choice for various installations.

Approved by HETAS and CE marked, this product complies with the highest industry standards, holding the designation numbers EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and EN1856-1 T200 P1 W V2 L50040 O20. Installation is straightforward, with components secured using a supplied locking band.

Secure the tube sections together using the supplied locking band, following the manufacturer's instructions closely. Check that all welds are intact and that insulation is properly aligned. For added confidence and peace of mind, consider using a professional installer, especially if you are unfamiliar with flue systems. Always refer to the installation manual provided with the product for detailed guidance and safety warnings.

No, this gas cowl is designed for gas and oil appliances only and is not suitable for solid fuel appliances.

Installation is straightforward. The chimney parts are secured together using a locking band, which is supplied with the product.

The outer skin is made from 304 stainless steel with a high-temperature black finish, and the inner skin is made from 316-grade stainless steel. The insulation is high-density compressed rockwool.

You must maintain a distance of 50mm from the outer flue to any combustible material such as wood or plasterboard.

This product is HETAS approved and CE marked, meeting the standards EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and EN1856-1 T200 P1 W V2 L50040 O20.
