The TWPro MB Anti-Wind Cowl Ø 150 is the ultimate in wind and rain protection for your chimney flue. Specifically engineered to enhance the performance of solid fuel, gas, and oil appliances, this cowl is perfect for wood stoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boilers, and any other solid fuel appliances. Constructed with a robust outer skin of 304 stainless steel with a high-temperature black coating, and an inner skin made of 316 grade stainless steel, both 0.4mm thick.

The unit also features compressed rockwool insulation with a density of 200kg/m3 for superior heat retention. Fully welded for added durability, it maintains a safe 50mm distance to combustible materials, ensuring safety and peace of mind. Approved by HETAS and CE marked, it carries the designation numbers EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and EN1856-1 T200 P1 W V2 L50040 O20.

Installation is a breeze with the supplied Locking Band. For optimal performance, maintain a 50mm clearance from the flue's exterior to any combustibles like wood or plasterboard.

Install the TWPro MB Anti-Wind Cowl using the supplied Locking Band. Begin by ensuring that the chimney flue is clear and free from any obstructions before fixing the cowl to the top. Secure the cowl firmly and double-check that a minimum clearance of 50mm is maintained between the flue and any combustible material such as wood, plasterboard, or insulation. Regular inspection after severe weather conditions is advisable to ensure the cowl remains securely affixed and continues to function effectively according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

This cowl is suitable for solid fuel, gas, and oil appliances such as woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boilers, and gas boilers.

The outer skin is made from 304 stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick with a high-temperature black coating. The inner skin is made from 316 grade stainless steel and is also 0.4mm thick.

The cowl uses compressed rockwool insulation with a density of 200kg/m3.
