The Triplelock 150mm Dia x 40m Z PACK (Liner ONLY) is an exceptional single skin flexible flue liner designed specifically for relining masonry chimneys. This high-performance flue liner is ideal for appliances fired by gas, as specified by the fire manufacturer, and oils up to 28 seconds. Engineered to withstand temperatures up to 260°C, the Triplelock flue liner is constructed from durable 316L grade stainless steel, measuring 0.10mm in thickness, and features five convolutions between each seam for added strength and flexibility.
The unique TRIPLELOCK seal ensures maximum reliability by folding the seam in three planes. This product comes with essential Kitemark certification to BS 715 and is tested and approved to BS EN 1856:2 standards, providing you with peace of mind regarding safety and quality. **Installation:** Ensure the liner can navigate through your chimney by pulling a small section of the diameter liner. Thoroughly sweep the chimney and check the integrity of your pot.
If not using a suspended cowl, remove the pot from the stack. Installation should begin from the top of the chimney. Attach a length of string to the nose cone (ordered separately) and the flue liner.
Pull the liner down the chimney while feeding it from the top. Once fitted, remove the nose cone, cut the liner to the appropriate length, and secure it using a clamp plate. Ensure the liner projects 75mm above the clamp plate for terminal attachment.
Secure both ends of the flue liner to a register plate or a flue pipe as required. Finally, apply a suitable cement for sealing and weatherproofing.**Maintenance:** It is advisable to sweep and maintain chimneys serving gas and oil appliances regularly, at least once a year, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
