The Top Plate - Ø 100, measuring 400mm square, is an essential accessory when installing MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. It works jointly with the Top Clamp and Top Insert Sleeve, effectively supporting the vertical weight of your flue liner at the stack's apex. Designed for multi-fuel applications, this top plate ensures compliance with Building Regulations Document J, which mandates that all flexible flue liners must be enclosed within a masonry chimney.

It is ideal for use with wood (moisture content <20%), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances, and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°C.To ensure a secure installation, it is crucial that your chimney stack is weatherproof and structurally sound. Chimney pots should be free from cracks and have appropriate flaunching at the top. Regular maintenance of your chimney system is also essential, with sweeping recommended at least once a year by a certified professional.

For solid fuel appliances, it is advisable to conduct sweeps twice annually.
