The Sump Adaptor (325mm sq. plate) - Ø 125 is designed specifically for secure and efficient clay pot to chimney stack connections where a chimney flue liner isn't installed. Crafted from durable 1mm thick stainless steel grade 316, this adaptor ensures longevity and reliability.

Prior to installation, ensure your existing clay liner is smoke-tested for soundness. For a perfect fit, simply place the 325mm x 325mm stainless steel plate against the underside of the stack, mark and secure it with screws, fill in the gaps with Fire Cement and Fire Rope for a seal that's good as gold. The single wall pipe then fits snugly over the downwards facing spigot, finalising your connection with additional fireproof materials.

Before installation, ensure that your existing clay liner is thoroughly smoke tested to confirm its integrity. Begin by positioning the 325mm x 325mm adaptor plate against the underside of your chimney stack and mark the drilling points. Secure the plate using appropriate screws; then, meticulously fill any gaps with Fire Cement and use Fire Rope to achieve a seamless, fireproof seal. Once the plate is in place, fit the single wall pipe over the downward facing spigot, applying additional fireproof materials to complete the connection. Follow all manufacturer safety guidelines and consider consulting National Flues support if you have any uncertainties during the process.

The Sump Adaptor is used to connect the bottom of a chimney stack that has an existing clay liner, ensuring a secure fit without the need for a chimney flue liner.

The Sump Adaptor is made from 1mm thick stainless steel Grade 316, offering excellent durability and resistance to corrosion.
