The Sflue (2148706) Storm Cowl - 152mm Ø is a robust and reliable solution for protecting your chimney from harsh weather conditions. Whether you are using solid fuel appliances like woodstoves or gas/oil systems like gas fires and boilers, this storm cowl ensures maximum efficiency. Constructed from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel for the outer skin and 316 grade stainless steel for the inner skin, the cowl boasts a thickness of 0.4mm for both layers.
Its insulation is comprised of dense compressed rockwool (230 kg/m³), encapsulated within twist-lock couplers, and fully laser welded for maximum durability. The design mandates a minimum distance of 50mm to any combustible material, safeguarding your home. Approved by HETAS and CE marked, it’s a trusted choice for your home.
Installation is straightforward with an 8-barbed twist-lock system and locking bands securing each section. Please note, this product is not meant as an anti-downdraught terminal.
